D'you mean use jag box and axle? will the jag box fit the 3.9 I mean bolt on or will i need to do some kind of an adapter?

Can any one tell me if a landrover gearbox can be used in a 2WD vehicle. I have a 3.9 v8 that i want to use in a custom van but the only gear boxes I can find are for Landrover 4WD ones. Is it popssible to remove the transfer case and use it without it or are the boxes useless with out them?

Had a similar problem with my discovery. Remove the steering column shroud and check all the small wires going to the switch, one of mine broke at the soldered joint and didn't conect. It looked fine at first glance though so look carefully, Dab some solder on it when you find it and yer done.

Not entirly sure, if mainly used on the road probably not but as your fitting a lift and bigger tyres I'd guess it's not always gonna be on the road. I dont think they need butchering just trimming back mainly just the return lip of the arch. Mine only seem to catch at the very bottom back...

Got same size AT's on my Disco 1 they do go on with standard suspension but they catch on the rear when heavily loaded or over uneven terrain :( .......... now where's me angle grinder ......
