    had it on the road for a grand total of 28 hours before it broke down repaired it new fuel tank sender unit worked ok for 4 days then starter motor packed up ..new one fitted ran ok for another week then clutch slave cyl went ................ oh and just put a new battery on yesterday ...

    lookin good mate keep at it .... i,ve just bought my first ever disco its a 300tdi on a m plate quite suprised at how good on fuel it is compared to the hilux surf i sold to get it

    Disco has loads of air in the fuel system and keeps dying

    my pipes on the sender unit in the tank rotted and caused air in fuel also bad starting then eventually snapped off all in one day . replaced sender unit all fine and dandy again

    wow thats one hell of a job you doin there mate hats off to you . i wish i was still able to do it can still weld etc but after a fall from the roof of a merc vario coach i,ve got 4 titanium rods in my spine and thier fusing the first 5 vertabrea together so my mobilty is goosed for doin it...

    hi all just a quick line to say hi will be reading up on 300tdi discos as i,ve just bought one and i have to admit that forums are a wealth of knowledge in fault fixing along with being interesting way of spending a bit of time peter
