    MOT/bush cables

I don't think Yoyo was suggesting it had owt to do with an MOT, just a possible excuse to get a tug by Plod on a bad day.

Is CB radio still in use in your neck of the woods?

    Good old atmospheric skip?

    Vibration after wheel bearing replacement

These cars are getting older - components fitted at similar times will no doubt wear out at similar times too :o Try putting the suspect wheel on the back if it was on the front previously.

    Front bumper trimming

It's still shielded at the front by the bumper. If you look on the left hand side, you can see the metal part of the under-bumper (metal frame/whatever it's called) just poking out in front of the wheel. The water bottle's base is a little higher than that.

    Front bumper trimming

I used one of those multi tools with the plunge saw and semi circular attachment depending upon whereabouts on the bumper I was working. No masking tape, it tracked quite nicely in the plastic, but then again the silver part's got more than a few stone chips in it. EDIT - you just have to be...

    Vibration after wheel bearing replacement

Did the tyre fitters notice if the wheel was buckled at all?

    Rear diff

Mine took a lot of persuasion with heat, you might be more fortunate... :)

    Front bumper trimming

No, that's just me not leaving the flimsy remaining rectangle of plastic around the front towing eye ;)

    Newbie after some advice

WELCOME Scott! The air from the driver's side wheel arch area just means that someone's forgotten to replace the fuse for the hair dryer safety-disconnect. It means the dryer is running all the time that the engine is working ;) Ahem , banter out of the way - no idea about the wheel arch noise...

    First Disco

It's not leaking oil, it's sweating power or marking its territory ;)

    Front bumper trimming

One of the fog lights fell off last year, the other one's cracked & broken, besides I cracked the off side front corner recently when attacking an embankment :o :o :o Seeing as there's a handy "cut line" above the D2 fog light area :bounce: I decided to prune the bumper to gain a bit more...

    Vibration after wheel bearing replacement

Aha! Get the wheel re-balanced ;) I once had to do that (not on my Land Rover), but on a previous car when getting new tyres fitted. Turns out the tyre place's balancer had thrown a wobbler (literally!). They only realised when I went back to tell them it felt worse with new tyres!

    Rear diff

No idea if its the same as a D1 sorry. Regards getting the flange cap off, I would say so, but you'd probably need to renew the oil seal seeing as you're trying to set fire to it. (Is that why you want to remove the flange nut?) A puller didn't work on mine until plenty of heat persuaded it :o

But they're a 2.25 ton brick which can go almost anywhere ;)

    Vibration after wheel bearing replacement

I take it the vibration's there even when you don' use the brakes? If not, I was going to suggest a warped disc..

Which Diagnostic to buy (D2 TD5Auto)

IIRC nanocom's aren't tied to VINs either. I borrowed a friend's and it work with my D2 no problem.

Another good reason! I'd forgotten about that, Yoyo! :tea:

oil level rising, smell of diesel

Genuine seals & washers for the injectors ;) Depends upon how often you change the oil - doesn't have to be oem.
