I know but at the same time last year there was a huge problem in County Leitrim with 4x4 been targeted to have cats and exhaust etc stolen so I just don't know if that could have happened to.

I just brought my 3rd Freelander and got caught out. It's a 2006 td4 5 door and I got a noise the other day so went underneath it and was shocked to find that the propshafts and vcu etc is missing. Is it a good idea and safe to drive it?? I am looking to get the parts for it but it's not cheap...
