Hi I've done a search and I cant really find an answer. I want to change the fluid on my D2 ,but I'm sure I read/heard that you need test book to bleed the brakes because of the abs?? Can someone put me straight please Ta muchly Andy

my 2000 d2 changes over after about 1/2 mile in summer and maybe 1 mile in winter so fairly quickly. what do you call ages? do you wait on idle for it to change? I just get in and drive which warms it up quicker

what number NGK plug do you use? mine are due a change cheers Andy

having now checked the parkers guide pre aug 2000 aircon was an (expensive) option post aug it was std. so while mine was registered dec2000 it must have been assembled pre Aug:doh: fortunately the windows work;)

I have one and love it , check on the aircon as I assumed it had aircon and it doesn't! sunroofs and windscreens prone to leak. andy

I recently changed the bulbs on my d2 with a bogof from halfords , think I paid £15 for 2 bullbs they are much brighter but have a narrower beam , I tend to use the front fogs as well to fill the wider shadows. Not sure what plod would say if I was stopped. not sure on legality of using...

yep duck tape works for me on the rear sunroof:D silicone on the windscreen;) = dryish car...

the light is flashing to show you the alarm has been triggered. might sound stupid but I had an alarm going off in the middle of the night several days in a row , turned out to be a moth. when it woke up and fluttered around it set the alarm off. may be worth checking for bugs. Andy

Mine has had the petrol tank removed and replaced with a 25l one in the wheel arch. the space left has two 40l lpg tanks . If you need more ground clearance I'm sure the tow bar could be modified but I leave mine as it protects the tanks in the event of a rear end shunt in this one you can see...

Mass airflow meter , plugs and leads , coil packs.????????? Try these first

I had exactly the same with mine (D2 4.0) and it was the coil packs and leads breaking down. The torque converter locks at 50mph ish (80kmh) and loads the engine . I bet if you put it on a diagnostic it will say multiple misfires. new leads and coil packs sorted it. Andy

this is what mine does (D2 4.0l)even though the lpg system is left switched on. I have to keep petrol in the tank as the fuel pump is always running. The previous owner had to replace it as he kept running the petrol too low and it failed Mine only has a 25l petrol tank and two 40l lpg tanks...
