Hi guys, Gauging interest in my 1.4 box I just had taken out of my 110 TD5. I thought there was a problem with it as horrible grinding noise > 50 - turns out it's absolutely fine (or the new box < 30k miles has the same problem....) I'd like > £100 for it as far I as I can tell it's in...

Could it be the transfer box? Might starts to whine at 50mph but goes away a little if I accelerate - the noise sounds like it's coming from just behind the cubby box. Also makes a clunk on power-take up.

I left my 110 alone for a few months and it's been running sweet like Tropicana then this weekend I *stupidly* decided to change the transfer box. I basically bolloxed the job and now I'm f**ked. Here's how it went: 1) Lets get this transfer box out - oh look, the winch is in the way 2)...

I wanna paint my landy matt black and I'm more than happy to practice on yours if you want a hand :P - I also have an air compressor and a paint gun bit it's more for arts and crafts than big bits of landy. Mightbe good for fiddly bits though.
