is it a disco?, on mine it was the windows ecu, under the glovebox

Mine was ok cold, but as you drive the sticking pistons /pads got very hot, boiling the brake fluid leading to no brakes. get your mechanic to pop out the pads & check piston movement.for the price of dot 4 fluid change it !!

I had the same problem, i used grey trim buttons bought off ebay, (£3 for 20) and made a hole through the seperated cloth and the hard card liner, splodged a bit of glue on the end of the trim button for good measure & push into the hole.Not 100% but good enough for my budget, i can send you...

I think it is already leaking in, just assumed it must be fitted on rubber, as i have never had a bonded screen car leak in before. Typical landrover "free" optional extra !:)

I used about 1 litre to change all the brake fluid on my car, with abs fitted.

does anyone know if the late 300 disco has a bonded screen fitted, if so would it replace a rubber fitted one?

No mine was pulling to the left a little under braking for a while before the faliure, as the left brake was working better than the right, pop the pads out & see if any pistons are siezed, new caliper was only £60, so not too expensive to do. Did you use the speed camera as a brake ?:D
