Rite, yes it runs all the time, were is the sensor? had a look this morning and cant see a sensor on the cooler, will go and have a better look now I know there is a sensor on it. Thanks.

Hi, as above, the fan on gearbox cooler on my 2000 dse is on all the time, I hope its just a sensor but I would like some Advice please on wot it could be and is it a common thing. Thank andy :D

Just done the diff oil again front and back.

I have a 330D to go in sometime next year, gota sort a gearbox out yet but an X5 box is on the cards for me, cant give any more info as I don't know myself yet till get the rest of the car sorted then will look into it and get the ball rolling.:D

Just done gearbox oil and filter change and transfer box oil change, used pump up garden sprayer to put oil in like others on here, Really easy now. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Took out, cleaned and sealed the N/S pollen filter housing and had a look under the dash as the blend motors aint working. :confused2:

Just get one off E bay and a seal kit, Sorted.:D

Found a bit of water in the drivers foot well yesterday, did a search on here on wot it could be, looked at the pollen filter and it woz wet so took all that out cleaned it all up, put it back with some silicon on the seals and any were water may get in so hope that's sorted it, the drain woz...

+1, I see this all to often been a Paramedic for the last ten years.

Just put a new steering damper on and took the hand break up.:dance:

Cheers for that, will have a look on there site, ive got all the wiring looms and ecu for the engine an the engine is ready to go, woz just the gearbox I wanted to change as the standard one will not be upto the job. :D:D:D

Thanks guys, woz just a thought, sounds like it would cost a fair bit to do, might still get the engine and all the bits and put it on the back burner for now and look into it when ive got the car fully sorted.:D

HI guys, well been offered bmw 330 diesel engine and just wondered if anybody has put one in a p38 dse or is it just to much messing about or to much for the auto gearbox. :D

+1 for that, did mine and feel like a different car, doing the air springs next so should get even better.:D

Had my 2000 2.5 dse for 3 weeks now and love it, just working my way though it bit by bit doing the things that can go wrong before they do, parts are easy and cheap to find and can do a lot of things yourself to save money, you get good advice from peeps on here and the search at the top is...
