Well sorted it, sat down with a brew and a fag getting ****ed off for five mins about to kick it in with me size 14 boots, thought sod it will take it out now, so went to slacken the three torks screws off and they felt tight so backed em off a bit and works fine now, thanks for the replys and...

Wish i could tell you all more, but cant, worked fine this morning, put new cable on and now it dont, im thinking the same as Wammers that ive done something wrong but cant think wot i could be. :mad: gona take it off tommorow and have a good look at it.:confused::confused::confused:

Now thats very Helpfull Tony, its done properly, i did think the cable could be tight stopping the latch locking but it works fine, no rods off nothings droped off, just the bloody latch dont lock on now so a negative comment really helps. :p

As above, just done the release cable and had to move the latch forward as my hands are to big to get in, now the latch will not latch on to the S plate, can move it and the dash beeps but it don't click just feels loose. Thanks

Holy crap, 7.8K for a recon unit, i woz thinking about a diesel 322 on a 06 or 07 plate for a weekend car but gota say things like this make me think might just plonk for a nice late p38 V8 on LPG, You have my Sympathy GR, hope it all works out well for you.

My drivers door release cable has just snapped :mad:, just ordered one from island 4x4 so should be here next few day, is it an easy job to do and has the latch gota come off to take old cable off and put new one on. Thanks :D

Put new UJs on the front prop and messed about with the heater as the N/S woz blowing cold, blend motor woz just hanging down on it wire and not working so just put the leaver to hot for now till have more time to sort it as got three blend for it.

Didnt he pay 200 quid for the EAS compressor aswell instead of a 15 quid rebuild kit? :hysterically_laughi
