Yeah heard it running.... its done 158k, had a large folder and has been maintained by a local garage for last ten years... has lots of history. Seems to look ok, reckons needs some slight welding for next mot... was on the mot advisory but wasnt the bulk head was floor panel... Mot is in 4...

I'm in Durham.... in the north east. Its running the standard 2.3 diesel... all completely original.... thanks for the manuals. Is there any mods that people do to make to more reliable/ easy to live with... quite keen on keeping it standard. I'm driving it back 120 miles tommrow...

thanks for all the advice, i think i will take a punt on it. I read somewhere about people putting 16" wheels on as it makes the car better on fuel and gear changes better? is this true?... if so what size wheels can you add and from what other landrovers please?

I think its the budget that i like, seems cheaper than others... is there away to fix the heater probs, other stuff woulnt bother me as not using it to much

What makes them so different to driver/ live with please? .. i wouldnt use it daily prob once a week but would like it to be reliable. I can't weld but have mates who can, also have a mate who owns his own garage who does all my cars... although may not be impressed with this :) Do they hold...
