All done! Took me a wee while to get around to finding the time to do it but it's now on. No real problems and had no trouble with the weight. Only fiddly bit was getting the airbag to sit as flush as it did on the old wheel. Took the airbag off and remounted it and it's better but...

Right. Lots of prodding and poking done and the rattle tracked down to the back box. Sounds like a marble rattling round inside. Could this be something in there that shouldn't be or is it simply busted inside? If it is busted, anyone know the rough cost of a rear section on a TD4? Cheers...

Haven't had that problem but have had issues with check straps. The bolts wearing the thread out of the strap meaning a door strip down to replace a £16 part! Driver's door has done it twice to me so now I just have no check strap. Easier that way :) Cheers Rog

Thanks for the reply - That sounds exacty like the noise. However, I've just had a look underneath and all the rubber bits of the exhaust are where they should be. I've given the exhaust a bit of a shake and no rattles can be heard. I don't think it would be the undertray as the puddles...
