will have 2 check was it t correct one or where he got it. it was t back left. the guy who tried 2 clear it came up with an open brake switch circuit , but t brake lights work properly, all sensors were reading correct at that time. thanks

my cousin bought a 98 p38 2.5 with these lights on. he got it plugged in to diagnois fault, not a dealer system. it said rear sensor fault, replaced sensor , lights still on. t guys computer can not turn off t lights. does anybody know or have any info that might help us,dealers 100 miles away...

if in doubt with any autobox, change t fluid and t filter, i had this problem changed t fluid , problem solved. now you must flush t box and t torque converter by , filling 2 correct level, start t car cycle through t gears and return 2 neutral. now drain again and repeat process twice more...

checked t loom under t wheel, seem on t plug 7 wires going in and only 5 out. cruise works as normal, anyone help.

sorry, i am tha silly,checked all bulbs on back of dash all identified by various inscriptions and guess what glow plug is under " service-e " cant be blamed 4 missing that. dash out again 2 moro.

small problem just occured on t p38, t glow plug light has disappeared. it no longer comes on even in t morning, but t car starts as normal all t time, for now, any suggestions have rave but cant pinpoint t problem. thanks nan ber

no strain,hardly drive t car. but you know, t leader of t opposition do have other ideas and she bought t interior of an overfinch, mind you i do like t wheel and when t buttons are there they may aswell work. will check that loom shortly. thanks

ioh m in clifden.almost as isolated as you, but rural.but thankfully had no trouble yet bar a low voltage battery that brings on t gearbox fault. mines a 99 , fitted a new set of koni s and they are t job, put 2 new bags in t front, herself was headin 2 france and t old one s looked t worst 4...

cheers karel p38. checked that out. but i think its not quite what i m looking for. not great on these machines. basically i just put on an upgraded steering wheel and thought it would work cos t printed circuit loom was in t old wheel. will get too t bottom of it some way. thanks for t help.

We have just put an overfinch steering wheel into a p38 DSE and the volume buttons don't work. My husband just plugged it straight in but no dice - is there something else we should be doing ? Its a second hand wheel and I need to know if its the wheel or the husband !! nan-ber

we have just fitted an overfinch steering wheel to a p38 DSE and the radio buttons don't work. there were no radio controls on the old wheel, but we just plugged the connector to the new wheel thinking it would work but no - has anyone experienced the same thing ?? or can anyone help solve the...

checked range rovers and cant find it. fitted wheel myself, as gemsdad said maybe t wiring is not connected somewhere in t facia. i thought once t wires in the wheel were there it was just a matter of changing wheels.ovbiously not. thanks

Hi - I have a 1999 p38 dse. Just fitted an overfinch steering wheel - old wheel only had cruise control buttons - new one has radio controll buttons aswell but they wont work. Can anyone help. nan-ber

Have 1999 p38 dse - just fitted a steering wheel from an overfinch with radio control buttons. Previous wheel didn't have these - only cruise control. Radio doesn't respond to control buttons :doh: Can anyone help. Thanks nan-ber
