I bought this one from Craddocks Clicky Seriously heavy duty and good value as well.

I fitted a terrafirma +2" kit and the front springs were marked for drivers side and passengers side, presumabley to allow for the offset transfer box and weight of the driver. It may be worth checking to see if you've got the front springs on the wrong side.

Cromwells do one for £6. I've got one and they're pretty good, thin enough and cranked. Way better then trying to force an ordinary spanner in. Clicky Just hope they've got a shop near you.

If I could trouble you with a further question. Does the cable for the earth leads need to match the ampage of the positive lead, ie 20A from the relay to earth and 10A from the lamps to earth?

I was only going to use 27 amp cable from the battery to the relay as it will be drawing near enough 17 amps. I chose 27 because its easy to get hold of but if you think 20 would be up to the job I'll probably go with that.

I've just had a look on Bosch's website and according to them the battery does have a CCA of 630. Furthermore the battery in question is the only one Bosch recommends for Defenders and S1 and S2 Discos. The plot thickens...

Is the disco 200 rear prop a straight swap?

I'm doing the same at the moment. I'm going for 4 lights in total; 2 6" driving lamps wired to come on with main beam and 2 8" 100w wipacs for off road only ;) use. I'm also circumcising the bumper at the same time and using the switch from the foglights as the feed into the relay for the wipacs.

Any chance of some piccies? I'm interested in the front bumper, steering guard and the rock sliders. How much for the 3 of them?

I've been offered a set of (oldish) wheels and tyres. The tyres are 6.00x16 and on standard SWB series rims. Would these fit staright onto a Disco 1?
