    I've been cleaning mine while it's on the landie. If it's off it would be much easier, I used engine degreaser and wd40 and a hose and some rags.

    Also the gasket on the clutch housing was completely gone. So I improvised and cut an old bike inner tube in it.

    I changed the master today. It was totally shot. Bled the system and the biting point is still low, better than before but not normal. Makes sense that the slave is worn too. Will change it on Monday I think. Will have a drive on the weekend. Many thanks for your help guys!

    Bled it and I saw a wee leak on the master cylinder. Perhaps as the slave was empty the leak is there?

    I cleaned out the breather and there was a wee bit of gunk in it. Looks like the small drip has stopped.

    Ace thanks for the info. So it's a new door to get the sliding ones. I did not know how they work, thought it would be as easy to just remove the old ones and install the military ones.

    It's only a small drip. I will clean it all off and look for that seal.
