    p38 battery drain

Best bet is to do a search - its more than likely the little box that picks up the signal from your keyfob - the older ones had a habit of waking up the BECM everytime it picked up a wireless network or wireless door bell, then that would kill the battery New one is about £150 from a...

    L322 iffy I.C.E questions

If its any thing like the aftermarket solutions, its a simple connection to the handbrake switch - when it earths out by the handbrake being applied, the screen works.... So if you move the connection to a permanent earth point it would work... As I say though, thats on a aftermarket...

    P38 doors on 1990 Vogue

Yes, with a liberal application of a lump hammer, a tube of silicnut sealant and a roll of Duct Tape....

    p38 Upgrade to L322 Front

Doesn't apply any more... The Chancellor binned it in the PreBudget Report... Will only now hit those with cars registered after 2006.....

    L322 iffy I.C.E questions

Aftermarket DVD/TV systems usually rely on a connection to the Handbrake switch, so if the handbrake is off, screens in the view of the Driver are disabled. I would assume that LR used something along those lines too, although knowing LR they probably went for a hideous expensive...

    Switch pack installation

Erm, I thought that all versions of Windows since 3.1 were crap? All released far too early, with far too many security holes in them and MS relying on "product evolution" - sorry, I mean emergency Patches to fix all the loopholes...!

Advice on buying a Range Rover

The Emissions based Tax thingy has been scrapped - well, the boundaries have been moved somewhat - it now covers cars built since 2006......

I keep looking, but can only ever see the aftermarket ones... I'll keep trying though... Just don't want to pay out the £350 or thereabouts that Simmonites etc want...

    Convoy light installation

Sorry chap, what is "just posing"? Fitting a Convoy Light, or being an Adult Instructor with a Cadet Unit? Good Drills on the Small Bore Shooting though - used to be an RCO, mainly running smallbore rimfire ranges, single shot with the No8... Got to get back into it..

    Convoy light installation

Not all of us are prone to it......... I'm more concerned with the Health and Safety implications of someone driving an until Landie around a training area where there are (potentially) kids 'running' about.... I wouldn't want to sign off the Risk Assessment...!

    Convoy light installation

I'm at a loss to understand why the Sqn would expect you to undertake these modifications to your personal vehicle before taking it way "on exercise" with them.... I hope that they are paying for the conversion/alterations and that they are then picking up the cost of any insurance alterations...

    Freelander hydraulics..easy to fit?

Clue in the Title - Freelander Hydraulics.... Please don't tell me you want one of those cars that you can raise the suspension up and down like a numpty??? Oh, hang on, that sounds like a Range Rover... Actually, that would be sitting on its bump stops with an EAS Fault....!
