Help am i going to make a mistake!!!

Tell you what, for 9k you can have my Rangie - I'm cutting my own arm off but as you are a Landyzone member, I'll do you a deal... Much more comfy than that Defender. One careful owner (and 5 really really careless ones)! I'll even wash it... Or rather one of the numpties that supposedly have...

P38 BUYING ADVICE FOR 4x4 BEGINNER

I was going to break this down into paragraphs for you, but if you can't be arsed, then neither can I! :p Not wishing to stir up any kind of hornet's nest (aw who am I trying to kid!) - but you admit in the post above that you don't know much about 4x4s (in which case a P38 wasn't a great...

    P38 Blue tooth kits

I've got the later HK system with the Alpine HeadUnit and a Bluetooth kit and it all works perfectly - it mutes the stereo and allows the calls to output through the front speakers. Perfect. I'm using it with a Sony Ericsson kit but will change to a Parrot one at some stage. I had to buy an...

    P38 HID Kits

Depends how you define bad.... They are an incredibly complex vehicle and are getting on a bit to say the least - anything from 8 to 15 years old. Some have been looked after with no expense spared, others have been neglected. I love mine and don't intend to change it for a long time - and...

    P38 HID Kits

Mine have gone through 3 MOTs without an issue - I have queried the whole self levelling thing with the tester and his answer was "your whole car self levels - good enough for me" so wasn't bothered.

Shocking service from Stratstone Land Rover Burnham

Lookers at Park Royal? Only one experience with them and it wasn't promising.... Went in there about 3 years ago (they had IIRC just changed from something else) and enquired about buying a Defender new, they essentially said I'd have to go somewhere more "agricultural" as their core market was...

    P38 HID Kits

They look absolutely identical - essentially you are replacing the bulb with the new one and adding a ballast/igniter unit per side which sits in the engine bay. Only difference is when they are on - you can see more!

    P38 HID Kits

Bought a set for my P38 when I got it - hids4u.co.uk - not the cheapest, but you get a 2 year guarantee and don't get any of the bulb blown type warnings. Easy to install and give oodles of light - so bonus all round really!

    Another broken P38? Never!

Well, got my baby back and she has been transformed! Looks like the main problem wasn't the air filter (although that was a major contributing factor) - the biggest issue was the hoses delaminating internally which was causing a massive constriction in the airflow when the turbo was spinning...
