Hello mate, I'm from Geordie land too. I've just entered the world of 4x4 too, first time I've had a motor than cant do over 130 for years! Suppose we all grow up (sort of) sometime.

I reckon you should be looking at spending £8-9000 from a dealer £7-8000 private. I just bough an 04 landmark (high spec) 2 owners full dealer SH 90,000 miles for £7200 private.

got the tyres from camskill nearly £360 wheels from MM 4x4 £635 inc delivery so all in nearly a grand!! i was just going to put modular steels on, but the ones for disco 2 look ****e!:)

Hi All, I'm new here and just bought my first 4x4 this week. disco 2 landmark. it will get some mild mods and my first was to get rid of the ****ty 18 inch wheels. so within 2 days of having it I bought myself a set of zu 16's and grabber AT's on 245 70's. wow what a difference to the ride. car...

I'm praying for snow and floods!! haha. where i live I have a long single track lane and at the end is a ford then a very steep hill. all my neighbours have soft roaders with road tyres. looking forward to see how they cope. BRING ON THE WINTER!!!!!!

just fitted some spanking new zu alloys with grabber AT's (only had the truck a week and I'm spending already):D

i went for leather for the dog. much easier to keep clean and looks cool too.

I have never owned a landrover, or for that matter any 4x4. Over the last year I have had a burning desire to own some kind of 4x4 in particular a landrover. Unfortunalty my supposedly better half didn't agree. So for the last year I have only dream t of owning one. Until something fantastic...
