Both front wheels balanced up yesterday and although one wheel wanted 60g on one side and 120g on the other, the aggressive steering wheel rattle / shake still persists! She's in for a service tomorrow, so will get my mechanic to check out everyone's suggestions in this thread and report back...

Flossie - the adaptor stays on - it's just the arm coming off the toothed spline

Hi all, just a part query... My N/S Windscreen Wiper keeps coming off when in use, I think the actual toothed round thing the wiper arm goes on is worn as opposed to the wiper arm. I just wondered if anyone can confirm if this is the correct part before I order one please.... It's for a 300Tdi...

I do pull a 2 ton trailer in and out of county show grounds, and have struggled a few times before when its been muddy - I just didn't want a full mud tyre which generates loads of road noise and makes the steering feel like I'm stirring a vat of stu! :D

Now fitted - a brand new Heavy Duty rear Crossmember manufactured from 3mm still rather than the standard 2mm steel used by Land Rover. Stainless bolts used too. Happy with that! :-)

Spoke with Clive on the blower yesterday and yes he can supply rear cross members which is good. The rest of the chassis is fine, as far as I can tell (fortunately)
