Get one of those electric impact wrenches that plugs into the cig lighter socket.They have a 1/2 drive so you can put on a 27mm socket :D Works for me-no effort involved :)

Mine has shoulders on the tensioner (based on the VIN) If it turns out to be moded I will put a bid on your unused tensioner:D:D PS any further joy with your rear leak problem:)

I think the moded one has shoulders on the drive pulley and none on the tensioner-I think :D

As a matter of interest chaps I got a timing kit + oil seals based on the VIN No. Have read some were modified but I wont know until the timing cover is off I suppose :eek:

Great stuff-I replaced the rad on mine as part of a full overhaul :D HOWEVER when all was back together I had forgotten to put the cowling back on:doh: No prob though-only top pipe off again :D:D

To be honest Paul I cant put a figure on it.I suppose if you were stuck and had no choice you would have to do it. Im sure some of the more experienced o the forum can throw some light on it :D

Pretty sure.Had a 200tdi once that had a knackered front prop shaft-PO drove with difflock on and destroyed the transfer box.Difflock is only designed for short periods off road.Driving on road will kill it:eek:

Note that removing a prop shaft means you have to drive with difflock on which will damage the transfer box :eek:

Hi Noisy From what I can see they use Mosfets so there is very little voltage drop :D They charge the batteries in parallel but isolate them so no danger of one discharging the other one:D:D The current rating of the diodes only depends on the charge current the batteries take. I am sure someone...

Hi Smarty From what I remember-behind the passenger kick panel there is a main earth ie a metal bracket boltrd to the body with several black wires connected to it-worth a check of the nut that holds it to the bodywork.Mine is a manual but should be similar Hope that helps;)
