i agree , just had my vcu and bearing carriers done, landy had done 73k its reccomended 70k is safe zone im informed by shropshires leading 4x4 repairer this torque test is laughable when all you need to do is put car in reverse on full lock and see if it reverses smooth, plus adhere to the 70k...

hi,my freelander 1 td4 70k has just had same fault but mine was a light rattle only at ide and went above 10mph. seems theres a rubber seperator damper that collapses, got local garage to do a quick check this morn and its just started to split, in mon..new pulley ..get an original.. ebay crap...

hi all got landy in monday for a check over, suprised how many suffer from crank pulley failure so its having new..original make pulley and belts and tensioner as a precaution, odd thing is ..it started to rattle ater a 40m trip , used car today ...super quiet, , could it be the pulley rubber...

hi just got a td4 02 plate .. reading on this erg i see kits for about 30 quid can be brought, why can you not just make a bkanking plate between the erg and manifold then block the pipes off , cheaper than 30 quid , buy a blank plate for 4 quid cheers
