There are 3 wires that connect to the MAF, one is earth, one is 12v from fusebox and one sends 0-5v signal to ECU. Check you are getting 12v before getting new MAF

Thought my MAF was faulty but after plugging in Hawkeye turned out there was no power getting to it as there is a common wiring fault. I ran a new wire from the fusebox and all working fine now.

Thanks, there are plugs in the scuttle. Will get a switch and see what happens. Can BCU be updated with Hawkeye.

I am getting my front screen replaced on Friday and have asked for a heated screen (currently not heated) how difficult is it to get the screen working. Is it just a case of fitting a switch.

Just went to pick it up, wife description wasn't quite the same after she calmed down. She didn't completely loose steering just got very light. All ball joints on steering ok (new steering box to OS wheel bar and joints replaced 2 months ago) and no play in steering box or front wheels. So...

Also make sure you are getting power to the MAF sensor as broken feed wire is a common problem. It made pickup much better after I ran a new wire to mine.

About time for me to change the clutch in my Disco TD5 2000, have a few questions. 1) Valeo or Britpart 2) Change dual mass flywheel as well 3) Engine out or Gearbox out. Any advice appreciated.

Update all the dashboard lights stay on as is key is in position 2 and they stay on if I disconnect the ignition barrel and ECU. Is there a relay that might be at fault.

My wife has just phone to say when she got home she turned off and took the keys out her disco kept running (very roughly) and the light on the dashboard stays on. The engine stopped after a few seconds but the doors will not lock from the fob. Is there a problem with the ignition barrel?
