How many posts do I need?

I am missing the lid from my passenger seatbox on my early 90 [1984]. Can anyone tell me if any 90 or defeender one will fit or even a Series model? I want to buy one on the forum or Ebay but need to be sure exactly what I need.

I just tried to post a wanted ad in the Patrs section but was refused access - can anyone tell me why?? I assume my account is active as my user name appears every time I log on.

It seems that I have a mixture of parts on my 90 - I have 2 inch lift springs but standard shocks!! Does anyone have a set of plus 2 inch shock absorbers or a set of standard springs available in the Midlands area?

I have a 90 fitted with an Isuzu 2.8 td engine, 2 questions, does anyone know how to tell the difference between those that are chain driven and those with a belt? Also mine whines at very high revs - does that mean the turbo is on the way out?

I have just bought a 1984 90 which has, I think, springs that lift it 2 inches, however, one of the reat shocks is bottoming and I don't know if they were changed when the springs were or if one of them is just knackered. can anyone tell me the lenth of a standard shocker or any other way of...
