OK I think I have my answer! The Engine cover bolt was not done up! I didn't realise that this went right through!? I am going to replace all my hoses soon so I will clean everything up and check for any signs of leaks elsewhere but hopefully this was all it was. Thanks for all the help guys...

Another thought... If it's burning oil and spraying out of the bloody dipstick hole why have I not had an oil level warning light come on? Is there one?
