    Seat Bar

Good idea, but I'm not sure if it's legal. Think I'll have to think some more on this.

    No indicators

Are there any 'usual suspects' when looking for earth faults?

OK James, thanks for this. Sooooo, 2 problems then.

    No indicators

New problem. My indicators used to blow the fuse under the steering column if they remained flashing for too long. Now they don't work at all. New fuses are in place. Any ideas? Cheers

    Adjusting the Clutch

How do you mean freeplay. (I'm a bit of a spaz with cars)

    Adjusting the Clutch

Sorry James, I meant run with the clutch biting where it is and not mucking about with it. (I'll still loosen the slave, though, but I'm wondering if it'll last the way it is, or will it poo itself)

    Adjusting the Clutch

OK, I see what you mean. I'll give it a go. Do I risk knacking the clutch, if I just run the way it is?

    Adjusting the Clutch

Sorry, not sure which bolts you mean. Securing bolts?

    Adjusting the Clutch

So, bite at the top (about an inch from top) is not normal?

    Adjusting the Clutch

I've just had a new clutch fitted and the 'bite' point is now near the top of the pedal. Is that normal? After fitting a new clutch, are there any adjustments that need to be made? Just don't want to the new clutch to be cactus after a couple of weeks. Cheers

How do you access the breather. (I had a bowl of stupid for dinner)

    Power Loss

Thanks for that. Not sure what the brake issue is, but one of the rear wheels is hot after driving around. Thought I read somewhere that the brakes could be adjusted somehow?? Cheers

    Power Loss

Got a bit of time to look into these problems again. Can anyone tell me where the fuel tank breather is? Is it just the fuel filler cap? Also, is there a way to adjust the brakes, as I'm still getting one wheel over heat. Cheers

    Slipping Clutch

I have now finally replaced the clutch (with a lot of help) and all is well again. We took the engine out. Rear seal was OK, but gearbox is leaking a bit. Anyways just a couple of questions 1 - the clutch 'bite' point is at the top of the pedal. Is this normal? 2 - Do I need to make...

    2.25 diesel high temp

Thanks Jamesmartin. How do I check the stabiliser? Do you have a part number, may as well change it if it is cheap enough.

    2.25 diesel high temp

Oil pressure is off the scale (high). Is this a clue?

    2.25 diesel high temp

Wrong temp sender? OK, which type do I need. Part number 560794 is fitted (a couple of days ago).

    2.25 diesel high temp

My diesel runs close to the red on the temperature gauge. I've put a new thermostat in, flushed the radiator, new sender and still the gauge is in the red. I had the bright idea (doh!) of measuring the temperature of the coolant at the top of the rad and found it to be 75 ish degrees...
