I had an airlock that happened like that before, all of a sudden gauge would shoot up, put blowers on and nothing, then all of a sudden red hot blowers and gauge went down. I just kept bleeding it over about 4-5 days and it eventually sorted itself out. Sy

Finally sorted front prop out. Bought it yesterday, spent about 5 hours fixing and fitting it, as it needed a new UJ - old broken one didnt want to come out, and new one didnt want to go in! - and then the bolts on the transfer box flange were so battered from it failing, I needed to grind off...

Fixed driver's mirror after some idiot clipped it the other day - thankfully it only broke the clip behind the glass, so was a £3 fix rather than £20ish, bought some oil for it, then couldn't start it outside the docs cos I think the key fob has died, so got it recovered home. Sy

Finally got round to sorting the rear window fault on my disco - usual bad joint on ecu - and sorted the dry joints on my keyfob too, so just need to sort the rot, the front prop, and the engine rattle, and then its all good... til something else breaks. Sy
