    I would also check that your pivot bearings are ok as any play will cause the seal to move away from the ball....and change from oil to the swivel grease that you can get from Land Rover dealers....not sure if you can get it elsewhere??!

    several bearings in each diff and output bearings on transfer box so these could be at fault but best to work back from the wheels to gearbox....just a thought have you checked the front CV joints do you think it is coming from the front or back of the vehicle???

    Yes but best to chock wheels and have handbrake off and in neutral so that you can feel for play in UJ's....it should be obvious if it is that!!

    I need to get new discs and Pads for my motor, has anyone any views on this? i.e. Get standard discs and pads, standard discs Mintex pads, grooved/dimpled/cross drilled discs, greenstuff pads etc etc. I use the car mainly on-road but also off road every now and then! Also any good suppliers?

    When BMW owned Land Rover they put a proto X5 on the suspension test rig. The suspension broke on the warm up cycle i.e. before the test proper actually started! The L322 passed the test! Enough said.
