    Thanks for the replies guys I will pm Irish and pick his brains. I had to unplug alarm and turn off the interior lights, but just a bit scared that the battery will drain if I just do that, so battery lead is coming off tonight!!

    Thanks Discomalc, Starting to think Becm myself now as well. Have noticed that if battery is disconnected for some time then all is well for maybe a couple of hours or even over night. Does the synchmate just reset the becm and clear it of any faults?.....I've not heard of it before...

    Well the car has been behaving all day, but 6am this morning it has decided to be a pain in the Arse again ..... Yep you guessed it the bloody alarm is sounding again. Any Ideas to why it keeps doing this?? I dont know where to look now :confused: :confused:

    Yep, Have checked the doors and all working as it should and matches with message board when opened or closed. but dont know why all seems to be working again.:confused: :confused: All interior lights go off now and the alarm only works now as it should. I have no idea why it has worked...

    Thanks wammers, I have done that but still get the error message. I have just been out to check mulitplugs on Becm and all are fine and dry. I reconnected the battery and it seemed ok for about 10 mins (all lights and error msg have gone off) then the fault started again.......... help!!!!!!!!!

    Sorry, but they are not really serviceable! Mine has done the same and thought I could dismantle and retighten...... erm not a chance :doh: So Now I've bought one and will just paint it as the original, alot easier.... believe me :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

    Anyone in Merseyside who has the equipment that could read any fault codes on my Hevac unit, Got the handbook symbol showing and would like to get it cleared and fixed ;)

    Just removed the fusebox and looked at connections underneath and all seems to be good, No signs of melting or burning :) But fans still coming on, do you think I need a new hevac unit? :eek: I know they are easy to replace but it's the cost of them :( Or better still, Is there anyone in...

    Thanks Datatek. I looked at relays this morning and one of them had brown burn marks on but fusebox seems to be ok. Bought a new relay and popped it in and it still done the same, blower fans come on by themselves :doh: Maybe it is the fusebox or even worse the hevac.......hope it's not though :o

    Do I need specialist diagnostic kits for this?? Forgot to mention That I have the handbook and ! showing on Hevac but it's been there since I bought the car months ago, just thought A/C needed regassing to reset that symbol :doh: Obviously I am wrong on that point:o

    A bit puzzled here :confused: On my P38, I turn ignition on and a few seconds later the blowers on the heater start blowing quite fast, try to turn it down and nothing happens, turn up the speed and it sounds like another set of blowers start, turn down the speed and it just stays the same...
