Sorry I know I know this has been covered. I have searched and read up but would like to clarify as to a 200 compared to 300 tdi conversion in my 90 2.5td. As I understand the 200tdi (preferred option but have chance of a cheap 300 disco) is 1 out 1 in where as the 300 needs mountings moved...

cost wise would it not be better to to buy a complete disco as a donnor and then you`ve got everything you need. Still get the engine though cos its always handy for spares or a donnor with knackered engine?
