Hi James I have a D reg td 90 that I use for a daily runner, not really an off roader as such. What advantages would I get fitting a front axle of a K reg 200tdi disco? I am doing the engine conversion and was just wondering what else i could use off the donnor. Thanks John

Get a 3 way, t shape junction ( 1 pipe in 2 pipes out) and use the 200 calipers.

Will a 4 bolt steering box off a K reg 200tdi disco fit on my D reg 90?( also 4 bolt). The reason being I have the donnor and the steering was sooooooo much lighter on the disco. I am using the tdi pump /with the engine conversion and wondering if I need the box as well.

Wouldnt counting the cylinders have been easier. 5 = TD5, 4 = 300TDI

With the mud rails moving the seat further back does that mean you will be sitting more upright as the back of the seat cant recline as much?

Sorry for the hijack. I have a 5 door disco. No doors, bonnet, seats, engine, gearbox, axles or bumpers. Basically just the body and chassis. Does anyone have a rough idea what it would fetch if I weigh it in?

I have a disco that I am breaking at the mo. Will have a look, if they are there and they come off you are welcome to them. Will have to check later as not at home.

With the ABS light on the brakes work as if it wasn`t there. Just for my own piece of mind if it was my car I would find a quiet straight road with myself in the car and do so quick driving emergency stops. Getting to know the car and trusting it. I would still get it fixed though and not remove...
