That was my idea but if I strengthen it around the access panel then all good?. Ive never had a flat battery even though it doesn't get used for weeks at a time but sods law!!!!!

Will defo have a look and maybe use the front rangie seats, will just have to get a smaller steering wheel (want one anyway). Don't really want to buy any others as I already have the range rover seats in the shed, tried to get rid but couldn't even give them away.

Now theres an idea. Will have to do some measuring. See if I could fit it on a rail ( like tool cabinet draw runners ) so effort is minimal when/if the time should arrive. Would cutting a hole that size not effect the seat base strength though?

They look great....BUT if you come to leave for work in the morning and you have a flat battery do you have to get the spanners out, remove seat, jump start then refit? I know some people use some sort of plug so don't have to get to the battery to jump start. Just liked the idea of comfy...

The master plan is converting to a soft top (currently a truck cab) and fitting a minibus seat in the rear, so would prefer to keep it tucked away.

But what about the battery? with normal seats. I have the range rover fronts in the same shed so could use them deepening on said battery access issue

I thought about the legroom and also the head height as well. As its so easy to remove the old ones was just going to sit them in loose and try first. I want different seats but still be able to get to the battery easily enough.

Hi chris. I finished the swop September October time and cant believe how easy it all went. The difference is great, lots of low gear speed now so I need to fit the disco transfer box to sort that. I managed to get the alloys to fit so looks nicer than the standards now. How did you get on?

I am looking at fitting a rear seat from a range rover classic in the front of my 90. I have read Busters thread. I found someone else had done it while keeping the option for flipping the seat forward to access the battery. I now cant find this thread so if anyone knows please help. Thanks

With the reputation of britpart do you want to change the clutch again when it breaks. Get a new decent one ( Borg and beck) and forget all about it and concentrate on everything else that needs fixing

I have the 3 bars that fit in the front to rear roof bars. Yours if you come and get them?

Just reading that link. Silly things like the trailer lights, is that from a certain year on? I have a 7pin tow bar socket and I didn't bother with the fog light wire.
