why is my eas flashing for a mile?

Do we really need the EAS to self-level every 6 hours after the vehicle is parked and switched off? What is the original logic behind this? I cannot see the need for self-leveling after stopping, but then I could be missing out on something. The EAS on my vehicle works as it should but I have...

The P38 must have been fault free once upon a time....?

Sorry the record goes to one of the 1st Proton's that rolled off the production lines here in Malaysia.......it got into a minor accident with a motorbike and broke into 2 halves on the motorway. The government was so embarrassed that they directed the Police to cover the pieces with white...

The P38 must have been fault free once upon a time....?

Not kidding. My 1996 was purchased new and it needed a new EAS valve block by day 3.............and I was only driving it to and from work, a round trip of 22km.

    Auto gearbox pipes leaking.

Use a copper pipe cutter to cut the alu pipes close to the hose-pipe joint. The just slip a rubber hose over the alu pipe and secure using a hose clip.

    P38 Brake pump failure

Failure comes in many forms with the Wabco ABS units. The valves in my ABS booster unit failed, and as a result, brake fluid overflowed from the brake fluid reservoir a few hours after the vehicle had been stopped.

Replacing EAS Compressor with another make

Datetek, mine's worn from age.....literally. The shaft bearings are gone although it does put out enough pressure. As a result there is more vibration when the motor is running. I could do a re-build, but at over 300,000 kms, something has to give ............ And I know that the compressors...

Replacing EAS Compressor with another make

Have an EAS compressor that is well worn and past its time. This is a compressor that came with the car from new in 1996, had the piston seal and cylinder replaced twice, and now with almost 200,000 miles / 320,000 kms, its time to say farewell. Just wondering if anyone has ever replaced the...

HELP. EAS Unlock software - found problem of "Pressure signal constantly high"

Have seen this problem quite a few times before. If the pressure switch tests okay, usually the fault seems to lie with the driver pack. The only one exception was when there was a wiring fault between the valve block and the EAS ECU. Did this on a few RR's belonging to friends.
