Its a 2001 V8 gas guzzler. I was a bit worried my Carbon Footprint was too small...! ;) It has a badge on the back that says "Series 2" and is obviously the later model with the higher rear lamps and different panels, etc... But I see some sites listing then as a Discovery 1...??

Good point yes. I had forgotten about the longer boot. But if the chassis is extended it will still fit. My guess is that they kept the same mount points but just extended the body panels. Any gurus able to answer? I will PM fredbloggs and ask also. Thanks. Cheers for now

I have read elsewhere of someone seeing a plastic gear wheel that had jumped out of sink and so causing problems that way. I can hear the changer trying to grab each of the six discs but not loading any, so maybe this is also my problem. I am snap happy so watch this space! Cheers
