This last week has been mainly short journeys with a couple of long ones. I know that it builds up under the cap on short journeys but when it's on the dipstick too that means there's a problem?

Exhaust only steams on start up.

I changed the oil a couple of times and got all the mayo out. I cleaned the rocker cover breather when I changed the HG but I haven't cleaned it since. Is there another engine breather? It don't appear to be losing water & it ain't bubbling.

No clicks - nothing. Checked the fuses and they are all fine. Not sure why the wires melted either. It's weird cos the lights & heater are fine.

Anyone know where I can get 11mm spade connectors for the back of my alternator? The wire connects at a 90 degree angle. The main alternator wire has melted and I'm making up a new one - only thing is the spades are so old I can't reuse them & I can't find any on t'interweb.:confused:

Is 750x16 exactly the same size as 750R16? I'm replacing the tyres on me 109 and it's getting a bit confusing!
