    military ones don't angle up at the bottom ends..tis more like a girder, straight across the bottom. Standard mud flaps won't fit on a mil X member

    I ended up getting a full set of AE pistons for a good price. How do you get the gudgeon pins out?? they are totally stuck - I don't fancy taking a big hammer to them!

    The ridge is on two of the cylinders but isn't very bad - the cylinders are in really good shape so I'm just gonna really lightly hone the glaze off.

    I'm putting new rings in cos I've got a cracked no.3 piston. One of the cylinders has a small ridge at the top of the cylinder where the piston stops..whats the best way of getting rid of it? Cheers

    British Springs don't do Para's anymore as they've moved to Sheffield and don't have the skills to make them anymore. I've just bought a full set of standard springs from them for my 109 for £170 delivered. Rocky Mountain are yer best bet for Para's Rocky Mountain Spares UK > Improved...

    Anyone know where I can get one? Erm..my dogs eaten mine. I have looked everywhere, padds, cradds, ebay, etc..nowhere seems to have them. It's a bigger size (70mm width) than the standard non servo reservoir cap. Can't see why everyone has the smaller size but not the bigger size :confused:

    When I took the head off again there was oil all over the back of the intake valve for no.3 Took the head in for a crack test yesterday..got it back and there is nowt wrong with it. If it was the rings would I have oil over the back of the valve? and if that is the case wouldn't it be on...

    ok I googled it..I reckon I can knock one together for £15! Forgot to mention there is no pressure when I take the rad cap off, never has been while I've owned it. It doesn't lose water though.

    I keep getting (what I think is) oil over plug no.3 I took the head off, replaced the valve seals with good quality seals, lapped the valves in etc and cleaned up the head.     completely agree..I try to avoid using them if at all possible. Most things I have had from them were either faulty to start with or wore out far too quickly. The only thing I've had off em that still works is a drop plate for the towball.
