The v6 is the only one I have seen. Can't be that hard to modify to fit the 1.8

What have you done to the engine so far. A 1.8 petrol will break under water before the snorkel even gets wet

When I first checked it did not have the u shaped washer and the smaller washer was not bent over. So I assumed the bolt worked loose and the splines were the weakest link

Today I stripped the clocks down an tried to make it mot friendly. I have wired the abs light to the engine management light so it goes out when started. This is a temp fix to try get a mot then I will get it on a code reader an sorted. Fingers crossed it passes like this
