Yes my rust hole in in part no 2 from the diagram just above the mud flap itself so will need to replace this part.

Excellent news hope I don't find horrors but think I will catch it early enough. Any issues getting them out I hear bolts prone to shearing. I take it you had to get under carpets to get to the bolts?

Yes I got that but was wondering what you had done with the front seeing as there was only a pile of rust left? It was only a query sorry I asked.

I have also noticed small holes appearing in the front mud guard section not as bed as yours but still I don't want it to get there. Just for my own clarity are these replacement parts bolted on or can I see pop rivets? Unsure I don't have a welder or the skills but could do with knowing how...
