Hi there, thanks I’ll try that when I get home from work. I’ve got a spare ecu so disconnected the battery changed the ecu over and it demobilised it. Then done the same again to that one. Thankyou.

Yes tried the right procedure a few times as well. It was originally immobilised. So replaced the bcu programmed it in and it worked. But now when the key is removed from Vehicle for a few minute it re immobilises. I know the new bcu is still working because I can get into it on nanocom but...

Yer suppose so the body work on mine is it pretty decent condition considering it’s 21 years old. I’ll post some pictures up on Saturday when she arrives

Yer I checked the front chassis of mine yesterday seems fine so hopefully it’s just the rear to sort out ... getting it towed this coming weekend to start the fun on my drive.

Yes it is a shame they scrimped on the chassis, thanks again for the help i will be posting pictures over the next couple of months with updates of how it’s going fingers crossed it’s worth salvaging.

Will do thanks for the advice appreciate it. If it’s not a complete rust bucket underneath that doesn’t need completely replacing it is it worth getting it all coated up in rust protection paint ? Thanks

Yer of course I just don’t trust taking it to a garage when they will just want to make a quick buck. Just don’t know enough about the chassis myself

Thanks yes I thought it didn’t sound right to do that... just looking for a cheaper alternative than replacing the chassis
