Hi I've just bought a 1997 90 300 TDi and keep reading about EGR's. I'm sorry if this has been covered many times, I keep finding conflicting information :-/ Ill get right to the point. Should I leave it in place or blank it off ? Cheers

@Jamesmartin The engine is the original one, he just had the gearbox replaced as fifth & reverse went. Do I assume the engine will still be in the right place ? Thanks

Is it still drivable beingbthatbfar back ? I only ask because its a 6 hour round trip for me to view it and that's a long way to go to find out its awkward and your elbow hits the bulkhead :(
