How easy or hard is it to work on these things

P38 in particular, mechanically I'm pretty much ok but strength and health wise debatable. Worked on many cars over the years nothing major apart from a 6sp gearbox a few months ago on a punto and vowed I wouldn't doo it again. So how easy or hard is it work on these ie brakes, wishbone/...

    Abs light not connector

That's right, I'm tempted to get a good code reader but it'll need to cover different cars and quite in depth as I get bored easy. But hoping that if I can get use out the RR I can gel with it and keep it. And that's only going to happen if or when I get it on the road. I'm in South Glasgow.

    Abs light not connector

On a 00 P38 I disconnected and cleaned both yellow connectors, took a lead off the battery but it's still on. I guess there's a fault somewhere then but what. Don't have a decent code reader and 2 folk i asked are a 50 call out and could be up to 150 just to tell me, what now.

It was the pipe from the pump to the first injector, there's already a tie on it at the injector but slipped off Now to try and deal with the other problems

P38A Leaking pipes but easy to start

No def leak off (or whatever folk call them) pipe as there's a bad puddle. Or if that's what you also call it them my mistake.

P38A Leaking pipes but easy to start

I think I'm the opposite of everybody else as that's what I get. Number 1 nearest the front has a bad leak but cold or hot starts fine so why do so many have it the other way and I don't.

    Is this the diesel pump

Again thanks chaps Yes I'll give it a go it's leaking anyway so can't make it any worse surely. Once thing though is the timing of I'm rebuilding it all, I started watching a vid last night feel was to tired, I'll watch it later on how he timed it. I've rebuilt the compressor but that's a...

    Is this the diesel pump

It's the bloody pump i saw it now and think it's coming from the base, I've got a leak at number 1 pipe but not enough to run down. So yes thanks for the link I'll see about putting seals in well either that or sell it for spares or scrap it.
