Thanks but can it be done without removeing it and is it a major strip out job?

Got a 94 m reg disco auto but the diff lock leaver only goes up and down into hi-low it will not go across to engage the diif lock I asume that it is seized, so whats the best way to get it working? thanks.

Hi have you checked the rubber doughnut on the shaft as they can cause rumbleing if they have split, worth alook.

If you read my post again you will see i said its not a good idea to drill them as they would corrode

ive dried headlights out by taking out the bulb then useing a hair dryer to dry them out its quick and easy as for drilling a hole in them i think they would soon corrode seen it on car before.

As you say you had distributor problems Have you had the ignition timming checked, also have alook at the plugs and leads and check the distributor cap for cracks, also an easy way to see if leads are breaking down is to wait till its dark lift the bonnet then start and rev it alittle and you...

Hi its a straight forward fab job cut out the old and replace you can replace right back to where the seams meet to make a nice neat job i have done jobs like these on lots of vehicles and you cant see where they went in.

Hi all, having abit of trouble with the abs on my 94 tdi, the abs keeps cutting in on a dry road when the brake is pressed lightly, its not all the time maybe once or twice aday. So can the abs be disconnected so i just have normal brakes? thanks.

Hi got a discovery 94 tdi all going ok untill the abs light came on, but not all the time sometimes it goes out after a few miles other times it stays on all day, could this be a faulty connection? if so anyone know what one?

Hi bought a second hand key fob programed it and it worked ok, for about 30min then the batteries seem to go flat , i put new ones in it and the same thing happened, has anyone else had this problem? is the key fob dead?

yes it just plugs in one way, i have also checked all fuses and relays and all are fine.
