Thats the same problem i have and repaired the hose and so far fingers crossed thats cured it !!!

i would get one ive a Td4 52 plate, the only thing i have had wrong with it in 15mnths of ownership is leaky back door and a blown turbo hose !!! its reasoable off road (i use a defender at work and used to own a 300tdi disco) and quiet on road

ive had mine a 2002 td4 manual gettin close to the 40mpg since feb this year and is great the only thing is it has a slight leak on the seal above the door !! lol aint a real landy without one !!!!

i see someone else has a thread regaurdin a similar thing (very long week) its just the drivers on mine n its so hot its cracking the glass !!!!!

dont mean to sound silly is that on both mirrors or just the drivers ????

can anone help ?? i have a 2002 Td4 with elect mirrors and it has a cracked drivers wing mirror, just the other day i noticed another but smaller when i touched the mirror it was really hot !!!! anyone any ideas ?????:confused:

Ive got a similar prob with mine (2002 td4) but they aint on all the time !! i might try the ignion and try and reset it !!
