I did think about that too. I could 3D print a 'Y' piece for the flexible pipe plus a little vent to mount.

Hi all. Had my 1993 90 200Tdi since Christmas time and just getting to know it. Mostly used by the wife for school runs as I spend most of my time doing secret stuff in the Middle East. A little less refined than my last car but great to get back to being able to tinker....
