I implemented Option B ABS Mod - LAND ROVER CLUB V.I. All sorted now, perfect!

I left the original socket in when reassembly as it provides a seal against any oil, note the orings ;-)

I just couldn't lift mine up for fear of damaging the brake lines going to the top of the ABS....The 3 x 4mm hex holding the shuttle valves are beneath the ABS right, so lift up the ABS (mine only lifts 75mm safely) and slide a right angled hex driver underneath?

Watched the vid, seems like with a short angled allen key you can get at the allen screws?

How did you lift the ABS unit high enough? Sorry haven't watched the vid link yet.. 40 Mins... Things are looking up :-)

All fixed now :-) First door took about 2 hours as I was fiddling about working out how the door trip came off for most of it. Second door from start to finish 50 minutes :-) Ended up receiving the Bach regulators. Gave them a good greasing with thick grease for the motor cog interface and...

Lakes Rob - yep that's exactly what's happened to mine, rollers off, one weld or maybe two gone and a mangled X mechanism! I'll post a couple of pics later ;-)

Gone for the AllMakes only because they are ISO9001:2008 rather than ISO9001:2000...Bought a pair as I suspect the passenger side is also on its way out, heard a couple of clicks and clunks yesterday when testing. New parts ordered and hopefully despatched tomorrow :-) We'll see. The 85...

Spot on Dave, had the panel off this evening, window 'regulator' trashed with two of the three welds gone on the other two arms also bent to pieces, the one supposed to be connected to the door completely detached! Great news re cost and looks like a home job which is even better... Only...

Thanks James, will certainly bear them in mind :) I also repaired my leak which was quite bad at times,especially under heavy rain...I used black drain pipe sealant around both outside top corners just above the A pillars. I reckon for me that's where the leak came from, been lovely and dry...

Chipped screen, so thought I'd be good and head of to insurer's recommended repair company Autoglass - waste of time! Seems like they just want to replace the whole screen (probably a common story). They will not repair any chip/crack which is (or they think is) a possible MOT failure...
