    Today I removed and cleaned my 'Engine Grunt Removal' valve and gave it a clean ( common title EGR valve). What a dirty little thing it was too. Need to do my inlet stranglehold ( oops, manifold) by the look of it soon too. Need to pop down to the local refinery to get bulk paraffin me thinks...

    Yeah I think a bearing press would be a useful item for this job, I would have had the job done in half the time with one. Don't forget, one main thing to watch for, as I mentioned, is the ABS magnetic sensor in the bearing seal. and receiver in the hub

    I did mine successfully myself using a vice, blocks of wood, large sockets etc. I won't be doing a 'how to' as it wasn't the east way to do it and would do it differently if there is a next time. There is quite a bit of strip down to do and yeah the ABS sensor and sensor seal must be handled...
