Clarion will have caa154 or 122 on the cd magazine, it will also have a PU number on the under side of the unit. I think it will be Alpine however!

Try a reset, remove the outer trim, next to the red led is a hole,press something small to reset. You will have to enter the code of course.

My 2004 90XS has strange problems also, will try this also, hate slamming doors.

I have a Griff with the fan removed, of cousre ! With a thermo fan cut in it is simple, but i have half speed fans to start with, follwed with the full speed, if needed. I will be doing the same with the 90XS i have also.

I now have a 90XS but my P38 i made a simple controller to do the suspension heights, four buttons, one for each corner and one button for "down". If i had done this at the beginning i would of saved £1600 that the dealer charged but never fixed, after four seperate visits. I think mine was...

Is it the Clarion unit ? If so, first try pressing the band button until asks for code, if this fails just leave it on until it clears, usually an hour. Again if its Clarion you can have MP3/Ipod input very cheaply.

I have had 3 TVRs and 3 rangies, always at the same time, ie 99 griff 500 and 95 hse being the last. Got rid of the hse and now got a 2004 black 90 xs Defender and would not go back to a rangie, yeah nice but ! Not that the Griff has been cheap, but thats my fault, too nice to poor suppliers.

I have one, its sensor is about the size of a 5p, it sits at the very bottom of the drivers side door seal, just poking out a little, you can hardly see it.

Sorry, forgot to say i have an XS with h seats and h screen, thought there was something i was missing ! I will look at tinkering the 90xs, i have a Griff 500 that now does everything it should !

Begining to get fed up with my 2004 90XS and the time it takes to heat up. I dont thrash a car when cold so have to wait a long time ! I start 10 mins before i drive, only 6 miles to the office and it just about gets warm. 90% of the rad shut off, so its not a stat problem.

Cold climate pack works nicely I must say :D What is it ? I start mine 10 mins before driving, only have 6 miles to the office and it just about thaws me out by the time i get there. I have blanked off 90% of the rad and its a little better. The Griff is warmer with the roof down !!!!!

I posted. While ago about chatter on slight steering movement, the traction light came on. Friday the abs and tracion had a fight and had no brakes!! Thankfully managed to put up on verge, no damage. Any ideas ? Aa took it away to the supplier as I have a warranty. 2004,90, Xs . Thanks...
