i thought the 200tdi def was 103bhp thats what my inside contact told me :P

disco's have diffrent gearing and also the 200 tdi has 10bhp more in a standard disco than in a standard defender 200tdi hence you large diffrence in speed RAZ every 1 seems to think the power from a 200tdi is the same as a 300 and both disco and defender power is the same just cuz haynes says...

my 300 tdi has no "electronic crap" my mums 1997 300tdi has 1 egr sensor which has been removed for about 20 quid where does this myth come from :confused:

i put my 6 X 9'S in ply boxes but the covered them in the same rubber matting i have on the floor can hardly tell they are there. The air tight boxes make the bass sound gud 2 :D

i would have 2 say go 4 the td5 i got a 300tdi for the abilty to work on it but if u get 1 and sort it out from the start you shouldnt need to touch it long as u look after it the td5 is a reliable motor and as u say if u want to tune it up abit u can take a td5 right up to 185bhp thats up there...

i dont think there are any it will be eletronic at a guess so unless u have 1 of the special computer thingys then no, its probly been brought in to stop people killing them selfs they dont exacly handle at 85mph btw ur immobiliser probly reactives its self after a set time of the veichle...

yeah your best bet if u can afford to is take it out n put a 200 or 300tdi in with a added intercooler ;)

yeah Jeremy J Fearn Intercoolers, motor engineers and 4X4 specialists only heard good things about these they also do a few other tweaks to the diesel pump n a few other things if they fit it for u :)

if u can get hold of a gps device either a sat nav or a speed cam detector that displays speed this will give u a reading of your true speed most speedos r about 3mph out at 80mph on the speedo my landy is only doing 75mph

Front output bearing of Lt230T Transfer Box making funny noise and seal is ****ing out oil on to prop shaft has any 1 changed it them selfs any advice can it be changed without removing the front output housing from the transfer box? thanks in advance

had a look all the form in the engine bay looks fine n there is quite a good blow coming out of the vents, thing is i dont think there is actualy anything wrong with the heater i mean it says genuine land over part on it so it meant to be crap thing is i want a gud 1 :P i have heard of people...

i think its got more vains in it so more water so there 4 more heat is transfered into the air blowen by the fan which is also the same as my idea with the 2 matrix's did changing the foam seals help at all?

Land Rover conversions - M&D Engineering they import the engine from belguim i think it is there only 2 mins up the road from me and its a very good engine alot better than the 300tdi but at 4,500 +vat its abit much and if you slap a bigger intercooler on a 300tdi and get some one who knows...
