    1995 v8i on LPG

Hi Vegari, You've got a pm. To answer your questions for everyone to see: Taxed until the end of July, MOT'd until 28 August Considering the extra wheels/tyres, roof rack, bits and A-frame included - but allowing for the knocking noise - I really don't want to go below £700. That's not to...

    1995 v8i on LPG

Haven't decided yet, but not a Toyota  IF I decide to get another 4x4 it'll be a Landie but what I really need is something I can just jump in and drive and not spend every weekend underneath so I can do it again next week :)

    1995 v8i on LPG

Okay I've made the decision it's time to move on. I no longer have the time or inclination to give this motor the TLC it deserves. I've owned this Discovery for the past four years and initially used it both as a daily drive and for green laning but it's been more than a year since it last...

    17 year old driving 110

I thought the important thing, from a legal (i.e. driving license) and insurance viewpoint, is not how many seats are actually in the vehicle but how many are on the type approval certificate. You can get a copy of the TAC from Land Rover but they may charge you. If you remove seats then you...

Any Body fitted 1 of Those Disc Brake Hand/Brake

I'd have thought that if the rear output seal is leaking all over your drum handbrake then it'll still spatter onto a disc too just by the draught effect when driving ... or am I missing something?

Exhaust wobble + spare wheel question

With regards to the loose exhaust, all that is likely to happen if you don't secure it is it will eventually fracture and fall off. The exhaust is usually connected to the chassis via a couple of rubber mounts and it might just be a case thatthe rear one has come off and needs refitting. I had...

Breaking RRC V8 auto 5 door.

I think I'm right in saying that the radiator on your RRC auto is the same as my Disco auto and has oil coolers built into the sides of the main rad ... am I getting it right? If so, how much for yours, including PF delivery to Bristol?

    Sagging head lining

Hi folks, not been on here for a l o n g while but this thread caught my attention as I have recently been fighting with the headlining in my Disco 1. I toyed with the idea of removing the lining and re-lining it but couldn't be arsed - it's an 18 year old motor that only gets used...

pair of new tyres - front or back ?

Not only Michelin but Continental and Dunlop both say that new tyres should be fitted to the rear of any vehicle ~ no matter how many wheels drive it or where they are. It's unlikely that anyone responding to this thread actually knows more about the science behind tyres than the manufacturers...

Auto Discovery, no power from park

My first thoughts are for the transmission oil. Check the level and condition of the gearbox oil.

    few problems help pls

Instrument lights are fed via the light switch and Fuse 8 too, so again that's common. What do you mean by tripped his tester out? Was it set to volts, amps or ohms and did he have it connected correctly?
