Hi Guys Another little niggle on the 1.8i that needs sorting the Exhaust is very buzzy at about 3600rpm and over gives vibration as well any ideas?

On the BMW 320d wich is very close to your motor the crank pick up actually reads of a plate which bolts between the flywheel and the crank so I dont think you will have any issues from that angle

I dont regret bying a freelander most modern cars give trouble regardliss of make!!

So removed rear door panel and found motor disconnected and cables removed from there mountings looks like regulator is faulty will have to replace. I plugged in motor and try a recalibration nayway which worked even though cables were just moving on there own. So at least I now have a working...
