Hi Guys...seems that it never rains but it pours. Went to start the D2 V8 beastie Sunday morning after not having driven it on Saturday and the battery was flat. It showed 11.5 v and wouldnt turn the V8 over. I got a jump start so I could take it down to the guy I bought the battery off 7 weeks...

...and it's impossible to overtake them when it's raining. The spray from the tyres blinds you for the 180+ foot length of the vehicle so you can't see what's coming, and if you could you would have to try and keep straight for that 180+ feet to the front wheels. Good job it doesn't rain that...

Just bought a small mount for the ipod that plugs straight into the cigarette lighter and broadcasts the ipod tunes on FM. I learned a neat little trick on other cars with computers and such, when changing a battery. Keep the car powered through a second battery (the one you jumped with perhaps? ) while you exchange the main one. This keeps constant power to the system and doesnt drop out any sensors or radio...

I know the Sport Mode selector is supposed to change the revs at which the auto transmission changes, but does it alter the fuel flow through the ECU as well?
