just had a compression test done on my V8 S2. they were all around 155-165 psi. Minimum spec was listed as 135 psi.

You only have to worry if they are being nice!!!!!;)

Smaller diameter tyres would help.

I enquired at the local Dealer here in Oz for another Key as there are two drivers. I was quoted around $400 for the key, then the vehicle would have to go to the dealers for them to program the code from their computer into the key, then register the new key with the vehicle (for another $150)...

It has always been like that for me with british cars (quite tall). Thats why I always had wing nuts on my bonnet hinges...any work needs doing...off with the bonnet!!! ( especially my Mini!) :):) On my old Series 1, I would climb into the engine bay and sit there and do the work!!

I am almost $500 poorer, but the beastie has had a good going over. (perhaps for that much, I could have had a good going over:D ) The new oil didnt help with the noisy lifter I mentioned earlier, but its pleasing to know that your beastie is in good nick. Compression ranged from 155 to 165...
